Job Description and Duties

Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly for at least 16 months. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

Under the lead direction of the Analyst II and the supervision of the Supervisor I, Certification Unit, Regional Human Resources Office (RHRO) – Central, CCHCS, the incumbent has the responsibility for the coordination of less complex assigned classifications to expedite recruitment, interviewing and hiring to ensure compliance with court mandates. Interprets and applies a wide variety of Personnel laws, rules, policies, and processes in the performance of the various post-examination and certification functions. Provide backup coverage and may be required to travel to institutions within the region and/or other regional HR offices or headquarters.

Travels statewide to attend recruiting initiatives and necessary hiring events representing CCHCS and interacting with potential future applicants. Assists with the coordination subject matter experts for conferences, local job fairs, and other recruitment events.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

Travel may be required.

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid centered work, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.
