Job Description
Seedbol Kitchen is looking for a strong, reliable, and experienced Kitchen Team Member – Cook / Prep Cook who takes pride in working in a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
This is an important, hands-on kitchen position and not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone with solid cooking and prep experience, good knife skills, speed, consistency, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
You will be responsible for preparing food, completing high-volume prep, maintaining kitchen stations, and making sure food quality, cleanliness, and organization meet our standards throughout your shift.

Our kitchen is focused primarily on prep, cooking, maintaining stations, and keeping food ready for service, rather than constantly cooking individual ticket orders.
This creates a more organized and controlled working environment while still requiring speed, attention to detail, and strong kitchen skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume food prep, including cutting and preparing vegetables and other ingredients
- Cook and prepare food according to Seedbol Kitchen recipes and standards
- Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistent food quality
- Complete daily prep lists on time
- Maintain and refill kitchen stations throughout the shift
- Perform line checks and make sure stations are properly stocked and organized
- Maintain proper food rotation and follow FIFO procedures
- Receive and properly store deliveries when needed
- Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists
- Keep kitchen equipment, prep areas, coolers, and storage areas clean and organized
- Communicate with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Identify prep shortages or kitchen issues before they affect service
- Wash dishes and assist with overall kitchen sanitation as needed
- Help keep the kitchen fully prepared and running smoothly throughout the shift
What We’re Looking For
This is a strong cook position, so previous professional kitchen experience is important.
The ideal candidate has:
- Previous cook, line cook, or prep cook experience
- Strong knife skills
- High-volume food prep experience
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining consistency
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization and time-management skills
- Ability to follow recipes and systems accurately
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to stay productive without constant supervision
- Ability to communicate and work well with a team
We are looking for someone who understands kitchen operations and takes responsibility for making sure their work is completed correctly and on time.
Schedule & Availability
Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work the following shifts:
- Morning shift: approximately 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Evening shift: approximately 3:00 PM–8:30 PM
- Some full-day shifts may also be available
Most currently available shifts are evening shifts.
Candidates must be available to work:
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
We are looking for candidates who can work approximately 25–40 hours per week and maintain reliable, consistent availability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive prep and kitchen tasks
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods

- Food is consistently prepared according to recipes
- Stations remain clean, stocked, and organized
- Ingredients are properly rotated and stored
- Kitchen standards are maintained throughout the entire shift

Compensation
