Regional Business Development – Florida

Municipal & Industrial Water/Wastewater Infrastructure

Flowpoint Environmental Systems is seeking a highly driven business development professional to develop municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure opportunities throughout Florida.

This is not a traditional equipment sales role. We are seeking a strategic infrastructure sales professional capable of developing relationships, identifying major opportunities early, navigating funding environments, and closing complex engineered projects.

The ideal candidate is a true hunter who thrives in performance-based environments and can build long-term relationships with municipalities, utilities, consulting engineers, contractors, developers, and industrial operators across Florida.

Process engineering
Mechanical fabrication

Remote monitoring systems

Municipal water & wastewater treatment systems
Industrial treatment systems

Key Responsibilities

Develop municipal and industrial infrastructure opportunities throughout Florida
Build relationships with utilities, municipalities, consulting engineers, contractors, developers, and industrial clients
Identify and advance high-value engineered system opportunities
Support technical solution development with internal engineering teams
Navigate municipal procurement and infrastructure funding environments
Increase Flowpoint specification positioning within engineering firms
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM management
Represent Flowpoint at industry conferences and regional infrastructure events

Qualifications

7+ years of water/wastewater infrastructure sales or project development experience
Strong Florida municipal and consulting engineering relationships
Understanding of water/wastewater treatment systems
Experience selling engineered or design-build solutions
Familiarity with public-sector procurement and infrastructure funding programs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to travel throughout Florida

Preferred:

Existing relationships with utilities, engineering firms, contractors, and industrial clients
SCADA/automation infrastructure experience
Engineering or technical background

Compensation

Base Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and industry relationships
Performance-Based Commission Structure
Uncapped Earnings Potential

Expected Total Compensation

Typical High Performer: $250,000 – $450,000+
