Full Job Description

The Wright Agencies is a growing and high-performing insurance agency looking for an experienced, motivated Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a key leadership position for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the agency, lead and hold our team accountable, and help drive continued growth. The Operations Manager will work directly with the agency owner and serve as a leader within the office.

We are looking for someone who is organized, confident, accountable, sales-minded, and comfortable managing people. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to oversee administrative tasks. We need a leader who will take ownership and help make the agency better.

Job Overview

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the insurance agency
Work directly with the agency owner on agency goals, strategy, and performance
Lead, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable
Monitor sales activity, production, conversion, and overall team performance
Help establish and maintain monthly sales and production goals
Review individual employee performance and provide coaching when necessary
Assist with training and onboarding new team members
Help ensure employees are following agency procedures and expectations
Monitor customer service and assist with escalated customer situations
Identify operational problems and develop solutions
Help improve agency processes, efficiency, and profitability
Track team performance and provide regular updates to the agency owner
Assist with recruiting and interviewing when needed
Help create a positive, professional, and accountable office culture
Step in and assist the team when needed
Serve as a key point of leadership when the agency owner is unavailable

What We're Looking For

Previous management or leadership experience
Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred
Strong sales and performance-management background
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to coach employees while holding them accountable
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Professional, dependable, and results-oriented
Comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary
Strong computer and organizational skills
Must be willing to take ownership rather than simply wait for direction

What Success Looks Like

The right person will become an important part of the agency's leadership team.

Success in this position means the agency runs more efficiently, the team is held accountable, sales performance continues to improve, customer issues are handled effectively, and the agency owner can spend more time focused on growth rather than managing every day-to-day issue.

We are looking for someone who wants to build something and grow with the agency, not someone who is simply looking for a title.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
