Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Arabic Speaker Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide culturally sensitive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their mental health goals through evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in Arabic, a deep understanding of clinical documentation standards, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care in both in-person and telehealth settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with various mental health needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake evaluations for Arabic-speaking clients using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavior management, and other evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on issues such as grief counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring disorders.
Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage urgent situations effectively while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
Document all clinical interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems following medical documentation standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care.
Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and behavioral health interventions.

Experience

Proven experience working with children, youth, and families in clinical or outpatient settings with a focus on pediatric psychology or child & youth therapy.
Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Hands-on experience with crisis management, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses.
Experience delivering telehealth therapy services while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including treatment planning, progress notes, medical records management, and clinical research protocols.
Ability to work effectively within inpatient or outpatient environments across diverse populations including geriatrics or individuals with disabilities.
