Audit Manager

Full-Time - Fully Remote Opportunity

For over 30 years, Michael Coglianese CPA, LLC, a public accounting firm located in Lincolnshire, IL, has provided audit and assurance, tax preparation, accounting, and consulting services to the alternative investment industry.

Our rapid growth and increasing demands for our audit services has created an opportunity for a self-motivated team player with 6+ years of recent public accounting audit experience to lead audit engagements and train a small audit staff.

Responsibilities:

Perform financial audits and reviews
Manage and train a staff of 5-10 auditors
Facilitate audit schedules with staff
Manage budgets
Work effectively as part of a motivated, diverse and high-energy team
Demonstrate critical thinking and an interest in taking on new challenges

Qualifications:

CPA certification
6+ years of professional experience leading multiple teams across multiple clients, allocating work to staff, and managing audit engagements to budget
Demonstrated excellence in communications, leadership, critical thinking, analytics, strategic business knowledge, and partnering with leadership
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency (AuditFile and ShareFile software proficiency are a plus)
Ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
Prior experience with broker dealers, hedge funds and PCAOB are a plus
