Job Description:

Just 4 Kids Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Our practice specializes in pediatric dental care, with multiple pediatric doctors, and orthodontists and accepts private insurance, Medicaid for children under 18, and fee-for-service patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental billing, insurance claims management, and patient account reconciliation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Process and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims.
Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve claim disputes and denials.
Collect and post patient payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances.
Maintain accurate patient billing records and update account information as needed.
Prepare and send statements to patients for outstanding balances.
Ensure compliance with Medicaid and private insurance billing guidelines.
Work closely with front office staff and dentists to ensure seamless patient billing operations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient billing inquiries and concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in dental billing and insurance claims management.
Proficiency in Dentrix Patient Management Software and Dolphin Patient Management Software.
Strong understanding of Medicaid, private insurance, and fee-for-service billing practices.
Knowledge of CDT codes and dental insurance processing requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
