Full Job Description

Seattle bookkeeping firm is looking for an experienced accountant with strong computer skills to provide payroll and accounting services virtually.

GENERAL SCOPE: We are a bookkeeping firm that provides virtual and onsite accounting to small businesses primarily in the Puget Sound region. This position is for a part time bookkeeper with around 20 - 30 hours per week and is a 1099 contract position. It is perfect for individuals who are organized and accustomed to self-directed work. An ideal candidate will have the ability to learn new accounting systems quickly and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be responsible and accountable to the company's primary objectives by providing accounting services including payroll, reconciliations, AP/AR, reports, local filings and other accounting needs.

This is a part time position with flexible hours and the ability to work virtually. A successful candidate will need the flexibility to be able follow up with clients during the day and will have great communication skills.

EXPERIENCE with the following services:

Inventory accounting

10+ Years of Payroll experience
Quickbooks Enterprise and Quickbooks online
Intuit Payroll
Bill.com
Local filings
10+ years of full service bookkeeping
Strong accounting knowledge
Problem solving and customer service
Written procedures
General computer literacy

Microsoft Excel

Construction accounting

Property Management accounting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 per hour
