About Us:
Vanquish Cancer is developing advanced AI-driven diagnostic platforms focused on improving early detection of cancer through endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) imaging. Our work combines clinical expertise with machine learning to transform how medical imaging data is interpreted.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to support annotation and analysis of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) imaging datasets. This role involves reviewing recorded procedures, identifying clinically relevant image frames, and annotating anatomical structures using a proprietary software platform.

You will play a key role in training AI models by ensuring high-quality, clinically accurate image labeling.

We accept ultrasound technologists, inculding with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) experience. Confident interpretation of pancreatic anatomy and pathology, will be highly competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

Review EUS video recordings and identify diagnostically relevant image frames
Annotate anatomical structures using provided software tools
Differentiate tissue characteristics, including structural patterns, echogenicity, rigidity, and abnormalities
Follow standardized annotation protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy
Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to refine annotation quality

Qualifications:

Background in ultrasound imaging (e.g., Sonographer, Ultrasound Technologist, Radiology Tech, or related field)
Strong ability to interpret ultrasound images and distinguish anatomical structures
High attention to detail and ability to follow structured protocols
Comfortable working with digital imaging and annotation tools

Preferred Experience:

Experience with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Familiarity with pancreatic imaging and anatomy
Clinical experience in gastroenterology or related field
Prior experience with medical image annotation or AI datasets
Exposure to DICOM viewers or imaging software platforms

Certifications preferred:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from ARDMS, ideally with Abdomen (AB) specialty.
ARRT Sonography credential (RT(S)) as an alternative pathway for certified sonographers.
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (e.g., CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent).

Additional certifications strongly preferred:

RDMS (AB) plus demonstrable abdominal/GI experience (helps signal comfort around pancreas, liver, biliary tree).
Any formal endoscopy/EUS training or certificate course (e.g., EUS-focused training through GI societies or hospital programs), even though most EUS “certification” frameworks are geared to physicians/endoscopists rather than techs.
