What You'll Do:

As a Senior Payroll Support Rep for Guardian HR, you will serve as a trusted, tenured expert for our incoming and existing clients. You will leverage your high-level technical skills and deep payroll service experience to solve complex payroll issues, streamline client workflows, and deliver elite support. Your goal is to be a strategic problem-solver, ensuring accurate, timely, and seamless payroll operations across a dynamic client roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve Senior-Level Inquiries: Research and resolve complex payroll support requests with high accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
System Administration: Utilize deep, hands-on software expertise—specifically UKG Ready—to assist clients with setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing payroll execution.
Maintain Real-Time Records: Document all client interactions, set up details, and follow-ups live in our systems to keep records accurate and organized.
Follow Standard Workflows: Apply standardized processes and the “GHR Method” to ensure reporting accuracy and seamless client communication.
Collaborate & Mentor: Partner closely with internal payroll support colleagues to share knowledge, troubleshoot system nuances, and maintain consistent, high-quality service across the department.
Support Incoming Clients: Help onboard and support incoming client accounts as our customer base expands.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to leverage modern software tools and workflows to enhance service efficiency and accuracy.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, detail-oriented payroll professional who combines technical systems expertise with exceptional client service skills.

Tenured Payroll Experience: Proven background as a skilled, senior payroll support representative within a fast-paced payroll services environment.
UKG Ready Expertise: Explicit, hands-on experience with UKG Ready is required.
AI & Tech Forward: You embrace technology and are excited to learn how to work with modern tools to increase efficiency while keeping an empathetic, high-touch client experience.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A service-oriented approach with the ability to manage a high-volume desk efficiently and tackle complex client payroll issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for explaining technical payroll features clearly to non-technical clients.
Superb Organization: Top-tier time management, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across software platforms.

Remote / Workspace Requirements:

To ensure success and protect sensitive client financial/payroll data, you must have:

A quiet, dedicated, and professional workspace free from distractions.
A reliable, high-speed internet connection.

Schedule & Supervision:

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
Supervision: You will report directly to the Director of Service.
