Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The General Aide provides support across various departments, performing manual labor and operational support in the cannabis production process. This includes tasks in post-harvest processing, cultivation, inventory management, and packaging, in compliance with company policies, state and local regulations.

Essential Functions:

● General Duties:

○ Perform assigned tasks such as trimming, plant inspection, product labeling, packaging, and equipment cleaning.

○ Accurately document activities, including plant data, batch tracking, and package labeling.

○ Operate department-specific tools and equipment with safety and care.

○ Assist with facility maintenance and cross-department tasks as required.

○ Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

● Post-Harvest:

○ Manicure and trim plants, separating usable product from waste.

○ Identify different plant components and ensure accurate product categorization.

○ Track product yield and waste, adhering to quality control standards.

● Cultivation:

○ Support cultivation processes, including plant care, room sanitation, and tool maintenance.

○ Maintain documentation for plant inspections, equipment checks, and room cleaning schedules.

● Inventory:

○ Label products and monitor inventory flow, ensuring accuracy in tracking systems.

○ Maintain quality standards during labeling and tracking, working efficiently over extended periods.

● Packaging:

○ Weigh, package, and label products according to established quality standards.

○ Seal packages and document product information in tracking systems.

Additional Functions:

● Maintain flexibility to work in various departments and adapt to shifting priorities.

● Promote a positive and proactive work environment.

● Provide constructive support to teammates, fostering collaboration and motivation.

Job Specifications:

● Basic knowledge of tracking systems, including METRC, and proficiency with computer tasks is a plus.

● Familiarity with cannabis production techniques and ability to identify product quality issues.

● Strong communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors and team members.

● Capable of independent work while adhering to departmental goals and timelines.

Work Environment:

● Indoor cannabis facility, with tasks performed in environments that may have strong odors.

Physical Demands:

● Ability to perform repetitive tasks, sit or stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds independently (100 pounds with assistance).

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Minimum age of 21, with valid state ID and required background checks.

● Compliance with state and company regulations for employment in the cannabis industry.

Additional Requirements:

● Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

● Personal hygiene and compliance with health guidelines are essential.
