Full Job Description

Blackstone Caterers are a mid size boutique caterer recognized as the state's "Best Catering Company" by RI Monthly and "Best Caterer" by Newport Life, privileged to be the perennial caterer of choice for the Newport Mansions and Rhode Island's best parties.

Our mission is to prepare with honest, execute with integrity and delivery beyond expectations. Our staff is comprised of the best in their fields and is focused on our mission.

We are looking to add a Back of the House Operations/ Beverage Manager to our team of professionals

Nights and Weekend availability are a must........ holidays off

The Work......

Back of the House:

Managing the steward and dish department
Creating weekly landslips for each job
Making sure all culinary dishes are cleaned and put away correctly
Cleaning and refueling all trucks and vans
Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Beverage Manager:

Control and oversee all the beverages for events
Oversee packing and unpacking all beverages (wine, liquor and soft drinks)
Ordering all beverages, keeping inventory of beverages
Making sure fruit is cut for each event
Making sure all events have correct items
Going to events and overseeing staff (bartenders and stewards)

Must have 3 years in a high volume catering or corporate dining.

Benefits include Health & Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off & 401K w/ match. Salary based on experience. All applicants must go through Indeed no phone calls to the office

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
