Full Job Description

Are you an ambitious process or systems engineer looking to make an immediate, tangible impact early in your career? Revchem is seeking a driven, hands-on Continuous Improvement Specialist to help transform our multisite warehouse operations.

Revchem relies heavily on manual processes, presenting a unique ground-floor opportunity to design, build, and deploy new operational workflows, technology integrations, and standard operating procedures. Working directly alongside our Distribution Manager (who oversees our multisite warehouse managers), you will be the architect of operational clarity. A core pillar of this role will be building and taking ownership of our central intranet platform (SharePoint) to visually document processes, align expectations, and deliver easy access to critical operational tools.

Note: This is an analytical, systems-focused engineering and process-building role—not a traditional Warehouse Manager position.

Responsibilities

1. Hands-On Process Design & System Architecture

Ground-Up Process Development: Assess current manual workflows, identify bottlenecks, challenge assumptions, and design optimized "as-is" and "to-be" operational processes.
Intranet & Documentation Owner: Serve as the primary architect and owner of Revchem’s central intranet/SharePoint platform—establishing a single, highly visual source of truth for SOPs, training, workflows, and operational tools.
Tool & Tech Integration: Define, elicit, and track requirements for new technology, software integrations, and data systems to modernize warehouse operations.

2. Operational Analytics & KPI Optimization

Data-Driven Insights: Analyze operational metrics surrounding labor productivity, delivery accuracy, inventory flow, quality control, and waste reduction to identify high-impact performance gaps.
Continuous Improvement (CI) Execution: Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile principles to drive measurable gains in core operational KPIs.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

Distribution Collaboration: Partner closely with the Distribution Manager and site-level teams to ensure practical, buy-in-backed implementation of new standards.
Influence Without Authority: Facilitate alignment, lead change management, and train cross-functional stakeholders—ranging from floor staff to senior management.
Project Governance: Communicate risks, status updates, and actionable recommendations directly to the Director of Operations.

Requirements

Academic Background: Degree or formal education in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, or a related technical field.
Early-Career Drive: Early to mid-career experience demonstrated by strong analytical aptitude, high learning agility, and an eager, entrepreneurial approach to solving complex operational problems.
Systems & Process Mastery: Proven ability to model, map, and document complex business workflows using visual tools (e.g., Visio, LucidChart, Microsoft Office/Project).
Intranet/Content Ownership: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (or similar platform architecture) to build organized, user-friendly internal knowledge bases.
Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

Experience with enterprise-level platforms (e.g., Syspro ERP).
Formal certifications or training in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or Agile/Scrum.
Exposure to project management frameworks (PMI).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Environment: Split between professional office settings and active warehouse environments across multiple distribution sites.
Physical Effort: Routine office work combined with active, hands-on floor assessments in warehouse environments. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, reaching, and exposure to moderate noise levels and varying indoor/outdoor temperatures.
Travel: Up to 25% (or more as operational needs dictate) to support multisite rollouts and assessments.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

PAY:

In accordance with California’s labor code, the expected salary/hourly range for this position is between $70,304.00 and $75,000.00 per hour. A new hire’s actual pay will be determined based on experience, skillset, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
