Travel Mammo Tech - Nationwide

At National Staffing Solutions, we provide opportunities across all 50 states, with thousands of positions available at any given time. We are currently seeking Mammo Techs who are open to travel assignments, while also offering select local contract opportunities in certain areas.

We’re currently seeking a Mammo Tech to join our amazing team on the road nationwide!

Details of the Mammo Tech opening:

Anticipated start date: ASAP
Anticipated pay range: $2,000-$3,500 weekly
Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
Anticipated schedule: 36-40 hours per week

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Mammo Tech:

Provides explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions
Conducts mammography study by positioning breasts; adjusting compression mechanisms; instructing patient to hold breath; retreating to lead protected area; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors; activating equipment to take image; releasing compression mechanisms; preparing for next positioning and view
Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures; develops mammograms; observes mammogram results; determines necessary adjustments for optimum results; retakes mammograms as required; forwards completed studies to radiologist for interpretation
Ensures operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance; instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures
Documents patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting

Qualifications for the Mammo Tech:

Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree program in Radiologic Technology or related field
ARRT (M) Certification
6 months to 1+ years experience
Current BLS certification
