Job SummaryOur Medline Acute Care sales team serves as the main interface for various segments in the hospital such as OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department, Materials Management and C-suite. We optimize care with quality hospital supplies and customized solutions which is why our customers continue to choose us as their trusted business partner - we make healthcare run better.Job DescriptionWe have an immediate opening for a Medical Sales Representative in the Richmond VA area.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Calling on hospitals within assigned territory to sell products. This team sells exam gloves, durable medical equipment, incontinence products, OR kits, plastics, skin care products, textiles, bathing systems, gauze, packs and gowns, protective apparel, surgical trays, advanced wound care, surgeons’ gloves and other things used in hospitals. </li><li>Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers leading to product and program sales</li><li>Establishing and nurturing client relationships by developing strong relationships with key decision makers</li><li>Presenting/selling new products and maintaining existing business</li><li>Team building among peers to ensure a collaboration across the continuum of care</li><li>Leadership skills and ability to “close the deal”</li><li>Preparing bids and price quotes</li><li>Occasional cold calling with intent to develop new markets</li></ul>Required Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience</li><li>Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment</li><li>Ability to present multiple product lines</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel in that car 90% of each day, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required.</li></ul> Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The anticipated compensation for this position includes a minimum of $115,000 in guaranteed earnings for the first year, with commission ranging between 0-4% net sales paid. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold. Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
