Position Summary
The Chiropractic Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the chiropractors and ensuring the office operates efficiently. This position is responsible for assisting with patient appointments, front office responsibilities, scheduling, and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working across multiple clinic locations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a positive first impression.
- Assist chiropractors with daily patient care and clinic operations.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Perform receptionist and general administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist with patient flow.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and office procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Travel between the clinic's three Houston office locations as business needs require.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of chiropractic procedures and terminology is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn practice management software.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between all three clinic locations.
