The Opportunity

This role blends two critical areas of our business: insurance production and agency operations. We're looking for a seasoned professional who's confident moving between client-facing sales and the internal rhythm that keeps an agency running smoothly.

As an Insurance Producer, you'll develop new business, cultivate client relationships, conduct annual reviews, and guide clients toward coverage solutions that fit their lives.

As an Agency Manager, you'll help ensure the office operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with our standards — supporting leadership, team members, and clients alike.

What You'll Do

Production & Client Growth

Service and grow an existing book of business
Convert warm, agency-provided leads into long-term client relationships
Conduct consultative sales presentations and annual client reviews
Build referral networks and identify additional coverage opportunities
Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the client lifecycle
Assist clients with claims and carrier communication

Agency Operations & Administration

Coordinate daily office activities and administrative workflows
Manage calendars, meetings, correspondence, and scheduling for leadership
Maintain client, personnel, financial, and company records
Assist with budgeting, bookkeeping, expense tracking, and reporting
Support onboarding and internal processes
Help identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and client experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a seasoned insurance professional — someone who's been in the industry, knows how to service a book, and is ready to take ownership of an established opportunity.

Required:

Active South Carolina insurance license
Proven experience as an insurance producer or agency team member
Strong understanding of insurance products and coverage strategies
Track record of building client relationships and closing business
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Comfort with CRM systems, email, and modern business technology
Ability to pass a background check and maintain continuing education
Reliable transportation for local client meetings and networking

Preferred:

Multi-line experience (personal and/or commercial)
Prior agency management, team lead, or office coordination experience
Established local network in the Columbia, SC area
