One of California's largest women’s health organizations is looking for a Full-time Clinical Assistant Manager to join our Modesto team.

FPA Women’s Health is committed to the professional development of our front-line staff. Most of our office managers began their careers as medical assistants and were promoted from within. FPA Women’s Health provides full spectrum diagnostic, preventive and reproductive health services in more than 160,000 visits a year throughout the state of California. Our 40+ highly skilled and experienced Gynecologists and Advanced Practitioners deliver sensitive, compassionate and patient centered care and education through 25+ care centers, many in rural and under-served communities. Our providers are committed to evidence-based prevention, screening and treatment methods using leading edge technology to deliver safe and convenient access to care. The Assistant Manager is the manager’s second in charge and has earned through experience the ability to train and coach the Care Coordinator staff. The Assistant Manager trains and coaches the staff to effectively communicate, manage, and organize all aspects of the patient encounter to ensure the optimal patient care experience. The Assistant Manager answers questions and supports the CC in their role as the patient’s primary advocate and contact with FPA, welcoming each patient to the organization, encouraging confidence in the care she receives. The Assistant Manager is responsible for adherence to all FPA front office policies and procedures to ensure administrative, operational, and clinical care goals are exceeded. The Assistant Manager supports patient engagement and provides general health education, so patients are optimally prepared to discuss their healthcare objectives and agree on a care plan with their providers. The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in the office’s success in exceeding service, quality, and performance metrics. The Assistant Manager serves as the manager’s right hand and fulfills many managerial duties when the manager is not present.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma required.
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Experience with standard office equipment, including the operation of computers, telephones, copying and faxing machines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.
Experience in healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
Must have strong communication skills. Daily communication with both care center staff and the executive team is required.
Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
Must be technically savvy.
Possess a professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to relate to diverse communities.
Possess a warm and caring manner.
Protect the confidentiality and security of patient information and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
Strong interest and passion for Women’s Health and Reproductive Rights required.
