This Safety Coordinator position is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, coaching teams, and reinforcing safety standards while supporting daily construction operations. Explore the posting to determine whether it matches your strengths.

As a Safety Coordinator you will:

Be the on-site safety authority, actively shaping a strong safety culture across active construction projects
Conduct daily and weekly site safety inspections, identifying hazards early and implementing corrective actions before incidents occur
Partner closely with superintendents, project managers, and field crews to integrate safety into daily operations—not just paperwork

Requirements of this Safety Coordinator role:

Ability to continuously gain safety “buy in” from teams and build the safety culture
3+ years’ experience in a field construction safety role
4-year degree preferred
OSHA 30 certification required
CHST, OSHA 500 or 510, CSO or equivalent strongly preferred
Bi-lingual ability in English and Spanish required
Valid Class C driver’s license
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Strong and verifiable industry references
