Full Job Description

Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical financial support to our manufacturing facility, acting as a key partner in budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis. You will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining internal controls, and providing insights that drive profitability and decision-making across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare monthly forecasts, weekly flash reports, and departmental budgets. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
Reporting & Costing: Analyze manufacturing variances, monitor job costing (including raw materials and labor), and report on key performance metrics.
Accounting Operations: Execute month-end close procedures, including preparing/posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
Compliance & Audit: Lead internal control testing, ensure SOX compliance, and assist with internal and external facility audits.
Communication: Act as a bridge between the finance department and other operational teams, providing clear financial insights to management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role. Experience in cost accounting is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). Experience with ERP/Enterprise software (such as Epicor, Oracle, or Hyperion) is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to synthesize complex data and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and requires U.S. person status.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
