Associate Commercial Buyer (Recovered Fiber Procurement)

Location: Chino, CA (On-site)

Company: WinFibre (U.S.) Incorporated – Affiliate of Lee & Man Paper

About the Role

WinFibre is the U.S. procurement arm of Lee & Man Paper, one of Asia’s leading paper

producers. We source recovered fiber in North America and export to overseas mills.

This role is ideal for a commercially curious, relationship-oriented professional who wants to grow into commodity procurement and trading. You will work in a seller-driven market where relationships, market judgment, and field execution matter as much as price.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Sourcing & Supplier Management

Maintain and develop relationships with recovered fiber suppliers through calls, visits,

and ongoing communication.

Execute purchase orders based on internal pricing guidance and allocation strategy.

Assist in onboarding new suppliers and expanding supply sources.

Market Intelligence & Commercial Support

Monitor market prices, supplier sentiment, and logistics constraints.

Gather market intelligence and share structured updates with the commercial and

logistics teams.

Support pricing and volume recommendations with data and field insights.

Quality & Field Execution

Conduct supplier site visits and spot quality inspections (moisture readings,

contamination estimates, bale integrity).

Complete inspection reports and communicate findings internally.

Support claims resolution and supplier corrective actions.

Internal Coordination

Work closely with logistics, documentation, and finance teams to align purchases with

export schedules and mill requirements.

Maintain accurate records of offers, purchases, and supplier communications.

Qualifications

0–3+ years experience in procurement, recycling, logistics, commodities, or commercial

roles (sales/trading experience a plus).

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Analytical mindset; comfortable working with Excel and commercial data.

Willingness to travel locally for supplier visits.

High integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
