Position Overview
A&C Tech is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong mobile application development experience to join our engineering team in Irvine, California.
This is a mobile-first full stack development role. The primary responsibility will be developing, maintaining, and improving our mobile applications and mobile-facing features, while also supporting backend services, APIs, databases, and system integrations as needed.
We are looking for someone with 3–5 years of professional software development experience who is comfortable taking ownership of mobile features from development and integration through testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android.
- Build new mobile features and improve application performance, stability, usability, and overall user experience.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle from implementation and testing through deployment and production support.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs supporting mobile application functionality.
- Integrate mobile applications with databases, cloud services, authentication systems, AI-powered services, and third-party APIs/SDKs.
- Troubleshoot application crashes, bugs, API issues, and performance problems.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, AI, backend, and other engineering team members to deliver new features.
- Support application releases and updates through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, version control, and CI/CD processes.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in mobile application development.
- Experience developing production-level applications for iOS and/or Android.
- Proficiency in one or more mobile development technologies, such as:
- Swift / SwiftUI
- Kotlin / Java
- React Native
- Flutter / Dart
- Working experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, authentication, and client-server architecture.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Experience publishing or maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.
- Experience supporting backend APIs and services for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or AI-powered functionality into applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, product-driven technology environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a developer who is strongest in mobile application development but capable of working across the full stack.
The ideal candidate can independently develop mobile features, integrate them with backend services, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to backend development when needed.
Strong hands-on mobile application experience is essential for this position. Candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in traditional web development with limited mobile application experience may not be a strong fit.
