Performs professional and administrative work analyzing and monitoring contracts and/or grants. Coordinates and facilitates Department agenda items, including delivery of documents to County Administration offices downtown. Coordinates and administers the processing of grant/loan contracts, mortgages, and other associated documents by both the recipient and the Department. Operates the Department’s Contract Management/Insurance Tracking System to monitor performance. Coordinates the receipt of information, analyzes information, and distributes reports to the Department’s management team. Assists management in making decisions regarding the use of existing/future resources. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Contract Development and Quality Control, but will provide a Department-wide service, and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results achieved.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Public/Business Administration, or closely related field; minimum of two (2) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating, managing, and/or coordinating contracts, grants, and/or leases,

An unrelated Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of three (3) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating, managing, and/or coordinating contracts, grants, and/or leases,

An Associate’s Degree in Public/Business Administration, or closely related field; minimum of four (4) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating, managing, and/or coordinating contracts, grants, and/or leases,

Graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating, managing, and/or coordinating contracts, grants, and/or leases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include:

Experience operating/monitoring a tracking system,
Experience reviewing a variety of documents to determine deadlines and locate key information, especially funding agreements, real estate contracts, mortgages, and other legal documents, and
Experience researching real estate transactions/land title records.
