Full Job Description

Pine Valley Country Club is a premier private country club located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The club features both casual and fine dining service, multiple event rooms, sports bar, a spectacular golf course, and an Olympic style pool.

At Pine Valley Country Club, we aim to provide exceptional and memorable experiences for our members and their guests.

An Event Supervisor would work with our Event Coordinator and Manager to ensure all supervising needs are met for PVCC's premier events, including but not limited to: weddings, baby/bridal showers, golf outings, fundraisers, birthday parties, club events, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise event staff
Work closely with Executive Chef/Banquet Chef on food timing and needs for events
Work with Food and Beverage Managers on any alcohol/wine/beer needs for events
Work with management team on planning, decorating, and facilitating club events
Be present and on the floor to facilitate set-up, supervise catering and bar staff, and remain available throughout the event’s entire duration
Assist the Event Coordinator and Event Manager with any other needs that arise

Job Requirements:

Have an adaptable approach/personality
Exemplary time management skills
Remain organized at all times
Possess people management skills
Possess customer service skills
Strong ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Problem solving skills
Detail-oriented
Strong ability to attend to clients' needs compassionately

Experience:

Events/Hospitality Field: 1 year
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Hours:

Approximately 15-25 hours per week
Varies based on time of year

Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Holidays
Weekend availability

Job Type:

Part time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
