Property Manager
MKB REALTORS® Property Management Division
Full-Time Position

Position Summary

MKB REALTORS® Property Management Division is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Property Manager to join our growing team. This full-time position performs management support functions within our Residential Property Management platform and serves as a primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, property owners, and prospective residents.

Working under the guidance and supervision of the Property Management Director, the successful candidate will assist in the administration of day-to-day operations while helping deliver exceptional service to our landlords and tenants.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Two to three years of related work experience and/or education preferred
Virginia Real Estate License preferred
Property management software experience preferred (App Folio, Yardi, etc.)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic, positive, and professional attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC-based software systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the residential property management industry
Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed

Key Responsibilities

Perform property management support functions for the Property Management Department
Assist with the daily operations and administrative workload of the residential & commercial management portfolio
Serve as a first point of contact for tenants, property owners, vendors, and applicants
Maintain and coordinate property inspections and related documentation
Communicate regularly with tenants and property owners regarding property-related matters
Assist with on-boarding new management properties and off-boarding existing properties
Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
Market vacant properties through various advertising platforms and assist with the onboarding of new listings
Screen rental applications and process applicant documentation
Prepare lease agreements and complete lease execution procedures
Convert approved applicants into tenants and coordinate all required move-in documentation
Produce routine reports and maintain accurate property management records
Support departmental goals and provide additional administrative assistance as needed

Schedule & Compensation

This is an in-person, full-time position.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
