About the Position

Empire Staffing is seeking a motivated and dependable Onsite Coordinator to support our workforce at a seafood manufacturing facility. The Onsite Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between Empire Staffing, our client, and our employees. This role is responsible for employee relations, payroll coordination, recruiting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, possesses strong leadership and organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Onsite Support

Serve as the primary liaison between Empire Staffing, client management, and assigned employees.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with client supervisors and employees.
Ensure all Empire Staffing policies and procedures are followed.
Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues professionally.
Administer employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
Report all workplace injuries immediately to the Empire Staffing Workers' Compensation Coordinator.
Maintain responsibility for company-issued electronics and work-related equipment.
Attend all mandatory company meetings and training sessions.

Payroll & Timekeeping

Work with client staff to complete weekly payroll for Empire Staffing employees.
Ensure payroll is accurate and submitted by Tuesday each week.
Enroll employees in timekeeping systems where applicable.
Review employee time records and resolve discrepancies before payroll submission.

Recruiting & Administrative Support

Recruit, interview, and onboard employees for client assignments.
Assist with staffing needs and recruiting efforts as required.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with daily employee scheduling and attendance.
Maintain accurate employee files and documentation.
Support other administrative duties as assigned.

Manufacturing Support

Work onsite in a seafood manufacturing environment.
Ensure employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Promote a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, or onsite coordination preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
Must have reliable transportation.
