The Electrophysiology Technician under the supervision of the Director/Manager/Assigned Designee provides technical assistance and works collaboratively with the nurse and physician or designee to prepare the patient and perform electrophysiology procedures (ablations and implants).
- Scrub assistant to electrophysiologist

Digital x ray Image acquisition and post processing

Patient monitoring and procedure documentation

Pre & post procedural care

In collaboration with the licensed nurse prepares patients for procedure, monitors patient condition throughout procedure, and recovers patients following procedure

Charges for procedures and supply items upon completion of procedure

Collects procedural data for reports, lectures, etc.

Actively participates in department process improvement efforts.

Completes other duties as assigned.
