Full Job Description

Thatcher Pools and Spas is seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic office/HR assistant for an intermediate level position to join our growing team.

Thatcher Pools is a premier pool and spa retailer. We strive to bring the highest quality service and products to each and every one of our customers. What sets Thatcher Pools apart is that we are family owned and highly invested in providing excellent products with untouchable customer service.

If you are looking for a fast paced and exciting environment, this is the position for you. This is a fully on-site position. This position is full or part time dependent on candidate. Thatcher Pools and Spas is located in Rochester, MN.

Job Duties:

Maintain employee records including onboarding and termination documents
Manage employee complaints in a diplomatic manner
Coordinate recruiting tactics with management and business needs
Assist with tracking employee PTO and managing budgets
Keep employee handbook up to date with current regulations and rules, and ensure that it is signed by all new employees
Miscellaneous administrative duties as needed
Keep track of all employee birthdays, work anniversaries, and other significant life events
Keep track of incident reports, and complete any necessary follow up
Assist with data entry
Support accounting team in day to day duties and tasks

Qualifications:

Experience in Human Resources or Accounting, or equivalent experience
Proficient computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
High degree of attention to detail
Familiarity of current State and Federal Employment laws
Ability to multitask and change priorities quickly
