Full Job Description

The Highlands at Brighton, an affiliate of UR Medicine, provides more specialty care services than any other transitional or long-term care facility in our region. We provide comprehensive care throughout our five specialized units. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including:

We have flexible opportunities available for compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistants who want to make a difference in our resident's lives.

Units: Rehab, Memory Care, Ventilator, Neurobehavioral, Long-Term Care
Status: Part Time, Full Time, or Contract
Contracts (Full time hours): Weekdays (and Every Other Weekend) OR Weekends Only
Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights (*Day shift not available for Weekday Contract)
Rate: $18.50/hr.-$28/hr.

Responsibilities:

Assist in promoting quality of life for our residents.
Assist residents with all ADL’s.
Take vital signs and weights and reports to RN/LPN team leader.
Ambulate, lift and transfer residents as per individual care plans.
Assist with feeding residents, tray distribution and recording of intakes per policy.
Interact and foster a positive relationship with staff, residents, and families consistently projecting a positive, caring, courteous and responsive environment.
Observe and report resident needs, abnormal conditions and/or behavioral changes.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification in good standing
Minimum of one year experience as a CNA required for contract positions
