Full Job Description

Swiss Screw Machine Set Up / Operator

(CNC Screw Machinist)

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am (based on production needs)

Job Responsibilities:

* Set up, maintain and program screw machines

* Adjust offsets to ensure part accuracy

* Monitor and maintain screw machines, including loading bars daily and cleaning out chips on scheduled basis

* New part programming with Esprit software and with machine controls

* Complete labor and tool change documentation

* Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality, as necessary

* Perform quality checks and testing of product, as necessary

Job Requirements:

* Experience with Star Swiss screw machines preferred

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Strong attention to accuracy and detail

* Strong mathematical skills

* CAD/CAM experience preferred

Candidates with CNC lathe setup experience and a desire to learn Swiss machining are encouraged to apply.

Capabilities include manufacturing, component assembly, prototypes, design, inspection and engineering services. Industries served include automotive and consumer goods.

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
