Full Job Description

DPF Properties, Inc. is a thriving family-owned real estate management company, dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences. We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Maintenance Technician for our single family homes portfolio located in Rocky Mount, NC.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair air conditioning units, including maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and coil cleaning.
Meet with your property manager 2-3 times weekly to discuss turns, outlying work orders, vendors, capital projects, budget, and time lines.
Address electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair issues.
Perform turn-over repairs and improvements to prepare vacant homes for market readiness.
Complete residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Perform cleaning and upkeep of grounds and common areas as needed.
Handle on-call and after-hours emergency services as required.
Communicate effectively with residents on work orders to deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
Conduct appliance repairs, plumbing fixes, and light fixture replacements.
Assist in make-ready work, including painting and unit preparation for leasing.
Work with landscapers and vendors to maintain the community's landscaping and aesthetics, including window cleaning and pressure washing.
Assist in scheduling and recruiting vendors for major repairs.
Ability to communicate and coordinate with vendors on unit turns, capex projects, and work orders.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Willingness to submit to a background check.
EPA certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds.
Willingness to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
