Full Job Description

Administrative Assistant – Part-Time

Key Line Construction, Inc.
Roseburg, Oregon
$20–$25 per hour
25–30 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Job Summary

Key Line Construction is seeking an organized, dependable, and professional Administrative Assistant to join our Roseburg office. This part-time position will support general office operations, construction projects, accounting, and payroll.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor, learn about the power-delivery industry, and build a long-term administrative career with the potential to take on additional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls and respond to general emails
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Order and maintain office supplies
Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Review and process employee timecards and payroll information
Set up new projects and maintain project documentation
Perform data entry, electronic filing, and general recordkeeping
Provide administrative support to project managers and field personnel
Maintain accurate and confidential company and employee information
Assist with other office and project-related tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior administrative or office experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Professional Suite
Advanced computer skills, including the ability to learn new software quickly, manage electronic files, accurately enter and organize data, create and maintain spreadsheets, and work efficiently across multiple computer applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

Previous construction-industry experience
Experience with payroll, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
Experience processing full-cycle payroll
Experience using QuickBooks or other accounting software
Experience supporting construction projects or field operations

Schedule and Compensation

Part-time position
Approximately 25–30 hours per week
Set Monday–Friday schedule
$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
