Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our vibrant healthcare team. This energetic role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient service. Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism
Schedule appointments efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or eClinicalWorks
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and handle medical billing processes including Medicare and HIPAA compliance
Collect patient information accurately, including intake forms and medical history updates
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review
Assist with medical coding tasks, including CPT, ICD-10, ICD-9 coding, and documentation of care plans
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries

Requirements

Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably in chiropractic or dental clinics with office management responsibilities
Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, Dentrix or Eaglesoft
Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical billing procedures
Ability to handle insurance verification processes accurately and efficiently
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typing skills (including 10-key typing)
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Prior experience with dental terminology or hospital experience is a plus but not required
Strong organizational skills to manage filing, medical records, and administrative tasks effectively
