Job Description:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsibilities include up to and are not limited to:

Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components such as power supplies, modules, and cable harnesses

Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies

Use hand tools and small power tools for component placement and wiring

Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality standards

Rework and repair defective units as needed

Fitting, aligning, calibrating and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements

Use grinding machines, drill press and power drill as necessary during assembly

Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface mount components using soldering iron and hot air techniques

Work as a team member, reporting to a Leader on assembly status

Communicate clearly and effectively

Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions

Ability to work OT as required to meet production goals

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-3 years of relevant work experience

Ability to assemble sheet metal covers, motion components, cast structures, wiring harnesses

Ability to run programming scripts for product integration testing

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Fundamental computer operation skills

Preferred requirement – certified operate a forklift

Work Environment:

Climate controlled manufacturing environment (assembly, machining, quality control facility) Exposure to possible hazards may include noise, electricity, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands:

Frequent: standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling, repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements

Periodic: operating power equipment, and utilizing a computer
