Full Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the weekly processes for approximately 500-1000 employees
Perform complete payroll process for business units, entity or unassigned field payrolls and perform mathematical calculations for withholdings and deductions, vacation, sick leave, retroactive pay, overtime, salary changes, etc.
Perform payroll edits to release field timecards to payroll system
Process W4s, ESR personnel updates, corrections and special payments
Administer and maintain direct deposits
Audits preparation of W4 forms and employee termination data to assure compliance with Company, state and federal requirements
Files all permanent payroll records
Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of full cycle administrative payroll experience
High School Diploma / GED
Key PC Payroll with accuracy
Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically Excel
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
Ability to adapt to changes quickly
Good work ethic and excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work with minimal supervision on most projects or tasks
Proven exceptional customer service skills and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of COBRA, FLSA and multi–State Income Tax
Previous full cycle manual payroll experience a plus
Weekly and Bi-Weekly MASS payroll processing a plus
Industry experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will work in a general office environment. Capable of operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from 20 inches or less.
