Education:
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study - education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Specialized Experience:
Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:

Some examples of this qualifying experience could be:
- Experience in teaching with full and primary responsibility for classroom instruction.

Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the qualifications to perform the major duties of this position as described above.

- The candidate must possess and maintain a current certification as a Fitness Trainer from a recognized Fitness Certifying agency, such as National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA), International Sports Specialist Association (ISSA), International Fitness Professional Association (IFPA), National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT), or an equivalent recognized Fitness Certifying agency;
AND
- The candidate must possess a minimum of one (1) year or more of experience as an instructor in the fitness industry which includes a certification from National Strength Conditioning Association (NSCA), International Sports Specialist Association (ISSA), International Fitness Professional Association (IFPA), National Federation of Personal Trainers
(NFPT), or an equivalent recognized Fitness Certified agency.
