Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) / Vascular Sonographer, where your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and evaluating vascular conditions. In this energetic and fast-paced role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound imaging techniques to assess blood flow, vessel integrity, and circulatory health. Your skills will directly impact patient outcomes by providing precise diagnostic information to physicians, supporting interventional procedures, and contributing to comprehensive cardiovascular care. We are seeking a motivated professional eager to make a difference through cutting-edge vascular imaging and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies, utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.
Assist with complex procedures such as cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and echocardiography, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
Analyze cardiac rhythms and vital signs during diagnostic evaluations to support comprehensive assessments.
Operate medical equipment with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers.
Document findings thoroughly using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), ensuring clear communication of results for physician review.
Support interventional cardiology procedures by providing real-time imaging guidance and physiological data collection.
Maintain detailed records of diagnostic procedures, patient information, and equipment logs to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Experience

Proven experience in vascular ultrasound imaging with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to vascular health.
Prior involvement in cardiac diagnostics including echocardiography, cardiac stress tests, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Hands-on experience operating medical equipment used in interventional radiology, cath labs, or emergency medicine settings.
Familiarity with cardiovascular technology systems such as PACS and other diagnostic tools used in trauma or emergency environments.
Experience working within high-acuity environments like Level I Trauma Centers or emergency departments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology, vascular health, and diagnostic procedures is essential for accurate documentation and communication.
