Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our School-Based Health Center team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our students and school staff, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time position that follows the Lincoln Parish School Board calendar, with the addition of a few training days.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage phone calls, while directing calls appropriately and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate filing systems for records and documents.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
Provide clerical support including typing, proofreading documents, and preparing correspondence.
Assist with customer support inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain office organization through effective time management and prioritization of tasks.
Support office duties including inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
Proficiency in Google is essential.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on providing a positive client experience.
Ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently, including filing, data entry, and calendar management.
Experience as a medical receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
