Full Job Description

Job Summary

Nexus Insurance Solutions, (at https://nexusinsurancesolutions.com) is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join its successful team. Nexus creates software related to its SaaS solutions in the commercial insurance space

Ideal candidate will have five (minimum) or more years of programming experience but the more experience, the better.

Experience

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or newer in Visual Studio (describe current version you are using)
NET web programming, MVC (Model-View-Controller) and MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) development patterns
Microsoft .NET 10 or newer
C#, Javascript and SQL development
jQuery, DevExpress, Telerik, and any other languages/libraries/controls you have worked with to date
SOAP and REST web services
Database operations experience a plus
Console applications
Windows applications
Black Duck Polaris or other code-review systems
App Development for Smart Phones
Data Analytics
SSO – SAML based, Okta, Azure Entra ID or other providers
Other technologies

Nexus prefers to work with A players. The position will be contract to start and could lead to a full time position for proven performers. Nexus employees enjoy an excellent benefit package including: Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, PTO and 401k match up to 4%. All Nexus contractors and employees work remotely, US based only.
