As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a qualified and well-rounded Hardscape/Mason Installer to join our dedicated team.
Position Overview
The Hardscape/Mason Installer will play a key role in managing and executing hardscape projects. This position requires leadership, hands-on expertise, and a passion for transforming properties with stonework and masonry elements.
Responsibilities
· Manage a crew of 2-8 professionals on various job sites.
· Demonstrate excellent communication, personal, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Prepare job sites by grading, excavating, and compacting soil to ensure proper drainage and structural stability.
· Install hardscape features, including pavers, natural stone, retaining walls, steps, edging, and other masonry or concrete elements.
· Perform, teach, and assist with all aspects of hardscaping and landscaping.
· Ensure all completed work meets company standards and rectify any issues as needed.
· Assist with new landscape designs and oversee installations.
· Engage and maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients.
· Oversee and maintain a safe work site and environment.
· Comprehend and follow schedules and timelines for project completion.
· Track and manage tasks using apps or cell phones.
· Manage inventory, stock, and aggregate materials as required.
· Maintain trucks, equipment, and tools to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of hardscape experience.
· Ability to consistently lift 60+ pounds.
· Possess a clean, insurable driver's license.
· Exceptional landscape installation and maintenance experience.
· Comprehensive knowledge of hardscape construction and aggregate landscape materials.
· Strong understanding of excavation, grading, and elevations.
· Excellent skill in driving trucks with trailers.
· Proficiency in operating track loaders, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment.
· Ability to problem solve and think quickly on the job.
· Demonstrate grade A communication, personal, leadership, and organizational skills.
