Residential Crisis Program| Sacramento Region, CA

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Adult Residential Facility Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our residential crisis program. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and person-centered support for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs.

Position Summary

The Adult Residential Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall operation and management of assigned residential facilities. This position ensures compliance with applicable regulations, agency policies, Individual Program Plans (IPPs), behavioral support plans, and residents' rights requirements.

The Adult Residential Facility Administrator provides leadership to residential staff, oversees program implementation, supports clinical and behavioral services, and ensures the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals served. This position serves as a key liaison between staff, families, regional centers, clinical teams, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

CURRENT ARF (Adult Residential Facility) Certification
RBT Certification
A minimum of three years serving in a supervisory position within the ABA field in a residential setting
Knowledge of Title 22 regulations and experience in reviewing the California Code of Regulations

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals as needed
Ability to perform physical aspects of residential care and crisis response

What You'll Do

Program Leadership & Operations

Oversee the daily operations and administration of assigned residential facility
Ensure implementation of and adherence to the facility's program design and services
Establish and maintain facility policies, procedures, and operational standards
Develop and manage facility budgets and other operational resources
Maintain staffing schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage at all times
Fill shifts as necessary to ensure continuity of care and program operations
Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive work environment
Be present and on-duty as required to ensure effective facility operations

Resident Care & Support

Ensure individuals receive the care, supervision, and support identified in their IPPs and behavioral support plans
Promote residents' rights, dignity, independence, and community integration.
Support individuals with activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, transportation, and community participation.
Ensure proper assistance with prescribed medications and medical equipment as authorized
Monitor overall resident health, safety, and well-being.

Behavioral Services & Clinical Coordination

Ensure development, implementation, and ongoing review of Individual Behavioral Support Plans (IBSPs)
Conduct weekly reviews of behavioral support plans and ensure required stakeholder involvement
Facilitate Individual Behavioral Support Team (IBST) meetings
Support behavioral plan fidelity and implementation
Assist in behavioral assessments and plan development as requested
Collaborate with clinical teams, families, regional centers, advocates, and other stakeholders

Staff Leadership & Development

Train, supervise, evaluate, and, when necessary, terminate staff
Ensure all employees meet statutory and agency qualification requirements.
Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing staff training.
Provide coaching, performance management, and annual performance evaluations.
Ensure staff complete required continuing education and certification requirements.
Maintain training records and compliance documentation

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

Ensure facility compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing standards, and agency policies.
Ensure residents' rights regulations are consistently upheld.
Monitor compliance with medication assistance procedures, health protocols, emergency procedures, and safety requirements.
Ensure Universal Precautions are followed at all times.
Maintain confidentiality regarding individuals served and employees.
Follow and enforce agency grievance and reporting policies.

Incident Reporting & Risk Management

Ensure timely identification and reporting of Special Incidents.
Ensure timely identification and reporting of suspected abuse or neglect.
Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Administer CPR and First Aid as necessary.
Complete and review incident reports and required documentation.
Report workplace injuries and illnesses promptly.

Documentation & Administrative Duties

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation.
Review and maintain daily notes, incident reports, medical logs, financial records, and payroll records.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee timekeeping information in Paycom.
Oversee consumer admissions, assessments, consultations, and intake procedures.
Develop and maintain residential activity schedules and program documentation

Communication & Collaboration

Communicate effectively with individuals served, families, staff, clinical teams, advocates, and community partners.
Provide updates regarding schedules, expectations, services, goals, and program changes.
Respond to phone calls, emails, texts, and other communications promptly.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, planning meetings, and stakeholder meetings as required.

Professional Development

Maintain active RBT certification, including supervision requirements, professional development units (PDUs), and renewals.
Complete a minimum of six (6) hours of continuing education annually within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis as directed.
Complete a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours of continuing education annually in the areas of:
- Resident services and program implementation
- Residents' rights, health, safety, and community integration
- Individual Program Plan (IPP) development and implementation
- Trauma-Informed Care
- Person-Centered Planning
- Positive Behavior Supports
- Cultural Competency

Compensation:

Starting at $80,000 annually
