Job Description

Create precision designs for mission-critical RF and microwave products. Teledyne Technologies is a leading provider of high-power microwave components for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. If you’re skilled in mechanical drafting and design and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation
Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards
Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, and MasterControl
Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control
Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings
Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels

What you need

5–10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field (required)
AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred)
Senior-level experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent (required)
Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required)
Altium/board layout experience (advantage)
Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

$44,500.00-$59,300.000
