Job Title: Veterinary Marketing Specialist

Position Type: Full-time

Reports To: COO and Regional Manager

Job Overview:

Rocklin Park Veterinary Hospital Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Veterinary Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing efforts for our multiple veterinary practice locations in the greater Sacramento area. This role will involve a mix of digital marketing, social media management, and in-house marketing strategies designed to increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and overall growth. The Veterinary Marketing Manager will work directly with the Regional Manager and Practice Manager to develop, execute, and report on marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing:
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including Google Ads, SEO, email marketing, and display ads.
Manage and optimize social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to engage with pet owners, share educational content, and promote services.
Oversee website content and updates to ensure it is current, engaging, and optimized for search engines.
Implement paid search campaigns (PPC) and track performance metrics.
In-House Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement in-house marketing strategies to boost client retention and attract new clients.
Coordinate the creation of print materials, flyers, posters, and other collateral for distribution across practice locations.
Manage client loyalty programs, promotions, and special events (e.g., vaccination days, holiday specials).
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with the Regional Manager and Practice Manager to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives and support practice growth.
Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, utilizing analytics and data to assess ROI and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights from data to adjust campaigns and improve outcomes.
Brand Management:
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all locations, materials, and online platforms.
Implement strategies that reinforce the practice's reputation as a trusted and compassionate veterinary provider.
Community Engagement:
Build relationships with local organizations, businesses, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and foster community engagement.
Coordinate and promote community outreach initiatives, such as pet health fairs, sponsorships, and local events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and social media management.
Experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry is highly preferred, but not required.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, SEO, PPC, social media platforms, and web analytics.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Excel, or other CRM platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Creative and innovative thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with other teams.
Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in graphic design or video editing for marketing content.
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
Knowledge of local Sacramento-area market trends and demographics.

Salary Range:

$28 - $32 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
