About the Job

Our firm exclusively represents high-net-worth individuals and families in complex, high-conflict dissolution proceedings, custody disputes, and related family law matters. Our team of ten skilled attorneys is known for aggressive advocacy, strategic litigation, and exceptional client service.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated matters in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Duties Include:

Draft and revise motions, responses, declarations, financial disclosures, correspondence, and a broad range of family law documents under attorney supervision
Assemble trial binders, exhibit notebooks, and appendices for court filings, depositions, mediations, and hearings
Manage and maintain case calendars, including court hearing dates, filing deadlines, and statutory response periods
Coordinate and prepare materials for hearings, trials, depositions, and legal meetings; anticipate attorney needs and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Assist with all phases of discovery, including preparing discovery requests, organizing responses, and managing document production for both clients and opposing counsel
Support client account management, billing entries, and collections tracking in coordination with the billing team
Collaborate effectively with supervising attorneys, co-counsel, and administrative staff to advance client matters
Provide general administrative support and perform additional duties as assigned

Skills:

Sound judgment and decisive, brisk decision-making skills under pressure in a high-volume litigation environment
Superior organizational ability — capable of managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines with precision
Meticulous attention to detail with demonstrated ability to see complex tasks through to completion with limited supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills; professional demeanor with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Collaborative team player who works effectively across all levels of a diverse, fast-moving legal team
Proficiency with legal practice management software; experience with Smokeball is a plus
Familiarity with California court rules, local rules for Orange County Superior Court, and family law procedural requirements preferred
