DAVID DOBBS ENTERPRISES, INC.
Warehouse / Receiving Coordinator
Full-Time | In-Person | $18 – $20 / hour
Every product we ship starts with someone making sure what came in is right — that’s where you come in.
David Dobbs Enterprises, Inc. is looking for an organized, dependable Warehouse / Receiving Coordinator to join our operations team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, take ownership of your work area, and understand that accurate receiving is the foundation of a well-run warehouse — we want to hear from you.
About Us
David Dobbs Enterprises, Inc. is a well-established manufacturing company with a long history of operational excellence and reliability. Our warehouse and receiving team is central to our supply chain — keeping materials moving, inventory accurate, and operations on schedule. We work in a fast-paced, in-person environment where teamwork, safety, and accountability are non-negotiable.
Role Overview & Impact
As our Warehouse / Receiving Coordinator, you will manage the intake of all incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and ensure materials are properly documented, labeled, and routed to the correct locations. Your role is the critical first checkpoint in our supply chain — errors caught at receiving prevent costly disruptions downstream. You will also support general warehouse operations, inventory management, and outbound shipping as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for quantity, condition, and accuracy.
- Document and process receipts in the ERP/inventory management system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Label, sort, and route incoming materials to the appropriate storage locations or departments.
- Identify, record, and communicate shipment discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the purchasing and accounting teams.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe receiving area in compliance with company and safety standards.
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliation of inventory variances.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues and schedule incoming freight.
- Support outbound shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and carrier coordination as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
Qualifications & Skills
Required

- 1–2 years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred; motivated candidates with related experience are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to accurately read and verify purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry into ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and receiving processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly across departments.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift experience is a plus; certification not required — training provided upon hire.
Preferred
- Epicor ERP experience is a significant plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and receiving best practices.
