If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for the management and control of the District's short and long budget. Typical work assignments will include:
- Preparing annual administrative budgets and operating plans.
- Analyzing expenditure data to identify variables affecting costs.
- Researching legal, regulatory, program, and budgetary information.
- Developing financial policies to facilitate achievement of program goals and objectives.
- Providing technical advice and assistance in the identification of future resource requirements, and in the planning and development of future budget requirements.
- Planning work to be accomplished and setting priorities.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as managing the budget process including formulating and executing the budget and overseeing financial management operations of a large organization; preparing financial estimates, budgets and operating plans; conducting financial audits; providing advice and guidance on budget and financial activities; and developing complex financial and budgetary reports.
