The Payroll and Administrative Coordinator is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing administrative support to the Human Resource Manager. The role supports benefits administration, payroll compliance, and benefit and retirement funding reconciliations. An accounting or bookkeeping background is strongly preferred. This position follows a hybrid work schedule based on the payroll processing calendar and business needs.

Process payroll accurately and on schedule.

Review timecards, payroll adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.

Coordinate payroll submissions with the payroll provider.

Maintain payroll records and reports.

Ensure compliance with payroll laws and company policies.

Reconcile benefit invoices and employee deductions.

Assist with retirement plan funding reconciliations.

Support benefits administration and enrollment changes.

Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.

Assist with onboarding, reporting, audits, and HR administrative projects.

Support workers' compensation administration as needed.

Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Human Resource Manager.

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

Minimum three years of payroll processing experience.

Accounting or bookkeeping experience strongly preferred.

Experience with Paylocity, ADP, Paychex, or similar HRIS/payroll systems.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent communication, organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
