ACD.net is seeking a motivated Wireless Network Technician (RF) to join our Network Operations team. If you enjoy technology, troubleshooting, and working with cutting-edge communications equipment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in the telecommunications industry.
No RF experience? No problem. We provide paid, hands-on training for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Install, configure, and maintain wireless broadband equipment.
- Install and align antennas, radios, and microwave systems.
- Troubleshoot RF, network, and customer connectivity issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on wireless communication sites.
- Install customer premise equipment (CPE).
- Configure routers, switches, and networking devices.
- Read network diagrams and technical documentation.
- Work closely with Network Operations to optimize system performance.
- Respond to service calls and assist with network restoration when needed.
We're Looking For
Ideal candidates have experience in:
- Wireless Internet (WISP)
- Telecommunications
- Networking / IT
- Low Voltage
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Field Service
- Cable Installation
- Fiber Optics
- Military Communications
- Tower Work
No experience? We encourage mechanically inclined individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn to apply.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights when required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
