Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Property Manager (Spanish Speaking) to lead the day-to-day operations of a residential property. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and team members, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient property management. Your expertise in property leasing, maintenance coordination, legal compliance, and team leadership will drive the success of our property portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on communities while managing a diverse range of responsibilities with energy and professionalism.

Duties

Oversee property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease agreement management, and rent collection using property management tools such as AppFolio and Tenant Tech.
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and other legal requirements.
Manage property maintenance requests by coordinating with facilities management teams and ensuring timely resolution through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in-person interactions; address tenant concerns promptly to foster positive relationships.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety standards, cleanliness, and overall property condition; document findings through data entry and filing systems.
Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and assist with financial reporting to support property profitability.
Lead a team of staff or vendors by providing guidance on conflict management, performance expectations, and operational procedures.
Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants when appropriate to enhance satisfaction and revenue.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including Office experience standards, Fair Housing laws, and HUD program requirements.

Experience

Proven experience in property management roles with a strong understanding of lease or rental agreement management.
Demonstrated proficiency with property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools.
Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
Experience in conflict management, negotiation, and client communication in a fast-paced environment.
Background in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing systems, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and team management capabilities.
