About Mission San Jose Mortgage

Mission San Jose Mortgage is a mortgage Brokerage company focused on helping borrowers navigate the home financing process. Our team works with clients to understand their financing goals, explore available mortgage options, and guide them through the loan process.

We are looking for motivated mortgage professionals to join our team and help borrowers find financing solutions that meet their needs.

About the Position

We are seeking experienced and newly licensed Loan Officers to join our remote team.

This opportunity is open to Loan Officers with established experience as well as individuals who have recently passed the required mortgage licensing exam and are looking to begin their career in loan origination.

The Loan Officer will work directly with borrowers, explain available mortgage options, assist with applications and documentation, and maintain communication throughout the loan process.

This is a 100% remote, commission-based position.

Responsibilities

Consult with borrowers to understand their financing goals and needs
Discuss available mortgage products and financing options
Assist borrowers with the loan application process
Collect and review application information and supporting documentation
Review borrower information according to applicable lending guidelines
Communicate with clients throughout the loan process
Respond to borrower questions and requests for additional information
Explain loan requirements, terms, and available options clearly
Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and other lending partners as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and loan records
Follow established lending procedures and applicable compliance requirements
Build and maintain relationships with borrowers and referral partners
Develop and maintain referral relationships with real estate professionals and other business partners
Follow up consistently with prospective and existing clients
Provide professional customer service throughout the mortgage process
Stay informed about mortgage products, lending guidelines, and industry requirements

Qualifications

Experienced Loan Officers are encouraged to apply
Newly licensed Loan Officers are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Strong follow-up and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and applications
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Required licensing and credentials, where applicable

Compensation

Commission-based compensation

This is a commission-only position with no guaranteed base salary. Compensation is based on individual production and the applicable commission structure. Actual earnings may vary based on loan volume, performance, and other factors.

Work Setting

100% Remote

The position is performed remotely. Candidates should have a reliable internet connection, a professional workspace, and the ability to communicate with clients and team members virtually.
